Digital Competition Policy and Regulation in Africa
The CCLE is delighted to launch a new accredited Stellenbosch University short course “Digital Competition Policy and Regulation in Africa”.
The course helps practitioners and academics develop the capacity to understand digital market developments and to analyse competition and regulatory problems with a specific focus on African realities.
The lecture team consists of experts on digital competition policy and innovation in Africa: Prof Willem H. Boshoff, Prof. Nicola Theron, Prof Rachel Jafta and Ms Helanya Fourie.

This online course starts 2 September 2026 and consists of 10 weekly lectures on Wednesday evenings 19:00-20:30 (Central African and South Africa time). These will conclude in mid November. Assessment consists of a written assignment and an oral later in November. No written examinations.

The course fee is R12,000.
Applicants should normally have a bachelor’s degree in economics, law or related fields or, alternatively, current and past experience in relevant areas.
