The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) invites practitioners and academics to a lunchtime webinar on oil price shocks and South African competition policy.

Join Professor Willem Boshoff (Stellenbosch University) and Daryl Dingley (Webber Wentzel) for a discussion on the law and economics of South African competition policy in the context of the current oil price shock. Professor Boshoff will discuss the predicted impact of the oil price shock on prices and selected sectors, before turning to areas of policy risk for firms responding to the shock. The discussion will cover excessive pricing, other abuse of dominance issues, and collusion.
