CCLE Conference 2026

South African merger control has a few more things to consider than whether a deal is good or bad for competition. Employment, ownership and the participation of small businesses form an integral part of merger review. It’s a distinctly South African approach, and one that makes for particularly interesting questions when applied to digital markets, where the rules of the game are still being worked out.

For its first conference, CCLE is bringing those questions to Stellenbosch, along with an international line-up of scholars, competition authorities and practitioners.
